Program
Tony Hewitt Quartet Featuring Johnny O'Neal
Monday, May 29
8PM to Midnight
Tony Hewitt, a veteran of the Nyc jazz scene, whose easy going and swinging vibe is always as cool as he is and a pleasure to hear, teams up with recently new arrival, Alina Engibaryan, who combines technical mastery with an appealing, audacious attitude. She comes from a musical family; the world famous Russian jazz drummer Nicholay Goncharov is her grandfather. Alina graduated from the highly renowned Kim Nazaretov Music School in Rostov, Russia with the highest marks possible and she has been a finalist in the Prinses Christina Jazz Concours and in the Dutch Vocal Competition, establishing her prowess in the European jazz scene.
